This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for Listen Up Audio Ltd's products and services. It forms part of our Terms of Service and should be read alongside them.
Free Trial
Your 3-day free trial of ListenUp Access gives you full access to our plugin library at no cost.
- You will not be charged during the trial.
- To avoid being charged when the trial ends, cancel before the 3-day period is over from your account dashboard.
- If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be charged the standard monthly subscription fee and the standard refund policy below applies.
- A free trial that ends without cancellation does not qualify for a refund — it is your responsibility to cancel within the trial window.
Monthly Subscriptions
If you have been charged for a monthly ListenUp Access subscription, you may request a refund within 14 days of the charge date, subject to the conditions below.
Refunds are available when:
- The refund is requested within 14 days of the charge date;
- No plugin installers or content have been downloaded from your account during the current billing period;
- The account has not violated our Terms of Service.
Refunds are not available when:
- Any plugin installer, sample, preset, or other content has been downloaded from your account during the billing period;
- The refund request is made more than 14 days after the charge date;
- The account has been flagged for suspected fraudulent activity;
- The account has previously received refunds and is now requesting another (excessive refund requests may be declined at our discretion).
Why Downloads Affect Refunds
ListenUp Access delivers digital products — plugin installers, presets, sample libraries, and other downloadable content — that cannot be returned once they have been received and downloaded.
By starting any download from your account, you confirm that:
- You have received the digital content;
- You consent to the immediate delivery of the digital content;
- You waive your statutory right of cancellation under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 for that delivered content.
This is consistent with UK consumer law for digital content and is standard practice across the audio software industry.
Subscription Renewals
Subscriptions renew automatically each month unless cancelled.
- You will receive a reminder email before each renewal.
- If you forget to cancel before a renewal and have not downloaded any new content since the previous billing period, contact us within 14 days and we will consider the refund request fairly.
- If significant time has passed or new content has been downloaded since the renewal, refunds will not be granted.
To avoid unwanted renewals, cancel your subscription from your account dashboard at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
How to Request a Refund
If you believe you are eligible for a refund under this policy, email support@listen-up-audio.com with:
- Your order number or the email address associated with your account;
- The reason for the refund request;
- Confirmation that you have not downloaded any plugin installers or content since the most recent charge.
We aim to respond to refund requests within 2 business days.
Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method and typically appear within 5-10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
When a refund is issued, your access to ListenUp Access is revoked and your subscription is cancelled.
Chargebacks
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. Most billing issues can be resolved quickly through direct contact.
Chargebacks issued without prior contact will result in:
- Your account being permanently banned from all Listen Up Audio products and services;
- A loss of access to any plugins you have previously installed;
- Potential recovery action for associated fees and lost revenue.
We take chargebacks seriously because they are costly and time-consuming to dispute. If you have a genuine billing issue, please give us the chance to resolve it first.
Refusal of Refunds
We may refuse a refund request if:
- The conditions above are not met;
- We believe the refund request is fraudulent or made in bad faith;
- The account has been used to violate our Terms of Service;
- The account shows a pattern of repeated refund requests across multiple subscriptions.
We will explain the reason for any refusal in our response.
Your Statutory Rights
Nothing in this Refund Policy affects your statutory consumer rights under UK law.
- If you are a consumer in the UK, you have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
- If you are a consumer in another country, you retain the benefit of any mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence.
- By starting a download, you explicitly consent to immediate delivery of digital content and acknowledge that this waives your statutory cancellation right for that delivered content.
If you believe your statutory rights have not been honoured, contact us directly. If we cannot resolve the issue, you may have additional remedies through your bank, card issuer, or local consumer protection authority.
